GARNETT — The Anderson County Sheriff’s office says area police agencies have broken a case involving several thefts in four counties. Anderson County Sheriff’s detective Vern Valentine said the thefts occurred in Anderson, Coffey and Osage counties, and in Topeka. He told the Anderson County Review that some of the stolen property has been recovered and includes two trailers, two pontoon boat trailers, two equipment trailers, an Anderson county license plate and a pull-along camper. Valentine said the investigation has identified a suspect.
