OTTAWA — The Franklin County Commission donated $1,000 for the Veterans Day celebration in Ottawa Wednesday. Commissioners said they were glad to contribute. Commission chair Ed Taylor said organizers think this year’s Veterans Day will be the biggest ever. There will also be re-enactors and exhibits at Forest Park. This year’s celebration will also include the return of the Healing Fields flags to honor veterans.
