OTTAWA — Members of the Ottawa school board attended the Kansas Association of Achool Boards’ fall regional meeting in Lyndon Tuesday evening. Those from Ottawa attending included Darrell Borque, Dennis George, Brandon Jones, Lewis Reed, Marge Stevens and Superintendent Dean Katt. It was George’s last meeting as regional vice president. The meeting included information on the Kansas state budget and state public school funding, high-quality teachers, student achievement and school business issues.
