GARNETT — The Garnett City Commission will review the city’s efforts to meet the standards of the federal Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). The commissioners meet at 6 Tuesday night at city hall. A special citizens ADA committee has been meeting about finding and correcting obstacles to wheelchairs in the city. The commissioners are also expected to add Osawatomie State Hospital’s ADA facilities coordinator Keith Baird to the special citizens committee. The commission will also consider a request to open 14th Street east of Walnut Street.
