OTTAWA — Ottawa police are asking for your help in stopping vandals who are breaking windows across the city. So far, the police have received at least 11 reports of damage over the last four days. Lt. Adam Weingartner said damage has occurred from the north end to the south end along, or just off of Main Street over the past four days. Those responsible are likely driving a vehicle and using a sling shot targeting businesses, he said. Officers have recovered 3/8-inch steel hunting shot balls at several of the crime scenes, he said.
