TOPEKA — The Kansas Department of Health and Environment said two more people have died from H1N1 swine flu. That raises the number of Kansans who have died from swine flu to 14. The KDHE said both victims, 72 year-old man from northeast Kansas and a 53-year-old woman from the Wichita area, had other health conditions which placed them at greater risk of complications the swine flu. Franklin County health director Midge Ransom said that swine flu vaccine is gradually making its way to the public. In the meantime, she says you can protect yourself by washing your hands, staying away from obviously sick people and taking care of yourself.
