OTTAWA — The Ottawa University basketball season got off to a blighted start last night. The Braves lost to William Jewell 74-49. The Lady Braves lost to the Lady Cardinals 91-61. The men will play at the KCAC-HAAC Classic Friday at Central Methodist University at Fayette, Mo. The women will play Friday at the Friends Tournament in Wichita.
