WELLSVILLE–Thanksgiving is almost here, and many people will be traveling. Toward that end, various police agencies will be out in force Nov. 23 to Nov. 29 to enforce traffic safety. Wellsville Police Chief Steve Gillespie says state statistics show people who do not buckle up are 12 times more likely to be killed as those who do buckle up. Authorities will also be on the lookout for drinking and driving.
