HILLSDALE LAKE — In Shakespeare’s “Macbeth,” the trees marched from Dusinane Wood but woodsmen will march to the trees in Missouri. The Marais des Cygnes River Basin Targeted Watershed grant, based at the Hillsdale Water Quality District, will host a forestry field day at the Shiloh Wildlife Area at Amsterdam, Mo., on Thursday afternoon. Marais des Cygnes forester Ryan Neises said the field day will demonstrate the importance of buffer strips to clean water running into rivers and streams. Register by Tuesday.
