GARNETT — The Garnett City Commission will ask the state to designate Anderson County as a Kansas Enterprise Zone when the commission meets tonight at 6 at city hall. The request is in conjunction with the Anderson County Commission. Commissioners are also expected to sign a loan agreement with the Kansas Department of Health and Environment to pay part of the cost for a new water line between the Cedar Valley Reservoir and the city’s water treatment plant on the south side of the city.
