GARNETT — After weeks of waiting, some Anderson County residents are getting vaccinated against the H1N1 swine flu virus. Anderson County Health Department nurse Teri Vaughn said more than 100 residents were vaccinated last week. She 200 will be vaccinated today. She said that people eligible for the vaccinations were notified by the county’s CodeRed telephone alert system. Vaughn told the Anderson County Review that the county is concentrating on people at higher risk including pregnant women, caregivers of children less than six months old, infants and health care workers.
