OLATHE — A four-vehicle chain-reaction pileup on I-35 near Santa Fe Road in Olathe Friday evening injured two people, including a 17-year-old Paola woman. The Kansas Highway Patrol said three of the vehicles had slowed down because of a traffic bottleneck on I-35. Troopers said a car driven by 18-year-old William Jacob Wilson, Osawatomie, tried to stop but rear-ended a car driven by 17-year-old Mackenzie Taylor, Paola. Taylor’s car hit a car driven by Derek Divito, Kansas City, which in turn, hit a SUV driven by Christina Partridge, Wellsville. Troopers said Taylor and her passenger Jarin Kramer were taken to Olathe Medical Center to be examined for possible injuries. There were no other injuries in the three other vehicles.
