OTTAWA — Mid America Nutrition Program has received a $1,000 grant from Subaru of America and Meals on Wheels Association of America as part of Subaru’s “Share the Love” campaign. Mid America executive director Sharon Geiss said the grant will help Mid America Nutrition provide a special roast beef dinner to seniors in need in December. Mid America Nutrition Program serves 1,200 seniors at 28 dining centers in Franklin, Miami, Anderson, Osage, Linn and Coffey counties 5 days a week. She said Mid America has lost $54,000 in state funding.
