TOPEKA–Anderson County seems to be having a fairly dramatic recovery in jobs…The Kansas Department of Labor says the county in October had 6.7 percent unemployment, down sharply from 7. 9 percent in September. Franklin County saw 7.3 percent joblessness, up slightly from 7.1 percent in September. Linn County saw 8 percent, down from 8.4 percent the previous month. Miami County experienced 6.4 percent, down from 6.8 percent. Osage County had 6.6 percent, down from 7 percent the previous month.
