KANSAS CITY — The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency has given more than $150,000 to Kansas State Uuniversity and the Kansas Department of Health and Environment for projects aimed at pollution prevention. Kansas State will receive about $56,000 for its Pollution Prevention Institute’s technical assistance program for the health-care and hospitality industries. The KDHE will receive $98,000 for its pollution prevention technical assistance program. That program is operated by K-state’s Pollution Prevention Institute.
