GARNETT — The world champion auctioneer will make a special appearance at the Anderson County Sales barn in Garnett Tuesday. Ty Thompson of Billings, Mont., will help sale barn owner Ron Ratliff sell more than a thousand head of cattle beginning at 1 p.m. Tuesday. There is no cost to attend the sale. Thompson outdid 32 other top auctioneers to claim the World Livestock Auctioneer Championship title. Other guest auctioneers include world champion runnerups Justin Dodson, Welch, Okla., and Brian Little, Wann, Okla.
