OSAWATOMIE — The Osawatomie Chamber of Commerce has issued a warning about phone scam that has contacted two of its members. Chamber of Commerce executive director Jessica Shaddox said the scam involves a phone call from a deaf relay system placing an order for a several products. The individual making the order tries to use a credit card over the phone and askS to ship the product or have a third party come and pick up the product. She said The card is stolen and when it’s declined, the business owner is out the product and the shipping cost.
