OTTAWA — Two motorists hit deer Wednesday. Tonya Pendleton, Rantoul, hit a deer Wednesday morning while she was driving east in the 4400 block of John Brown Road between Rantoul and Lane. Chad Thompson, Pomona, hit a deer Wednesday evening on Shawnee Road near Idaho Road near Centropolis.
