GARNETT — Three years ago, legislators approved a law that allows Kansans to get licenses to carry concealed weapons. The Anderson County Review reports nearly 23,000 Kansans are now licensed to carry concealed weapons. Anderson County Sheriff Scot Brownrigg said he has not had any problems in the county since the law went into effect. Brownrigg said the county sees two to three applicants per month. The Review reports most of the applicants in the state are males 50 to 60 years old.
