OTTAWA — An Ottawa man serving life for raping a seven-year-old girl will be resentenced Monday afternoon in Franklin County District Court. Court records indicate Melvin Trautloff Jr. will be resentenced because of changes in a presentencing investigation report. He was sentenced early last year after he and his girlfriend were convicted of raping her daughter and using a camera to record the assaults. His previous record includes two sex offenses against in children in Lyon County. He has been at the state prison at Ellsworth.
