OTTAWA — The second-degree murder trial of Mark Aaron Sherman began in Franklin County District Court Monday morning with the selection of jurors. Seventy-five potential jurors were called. Sherman, 24, is charged in the shooting death of Sky Nichol Cadorette, 19, at an Ottawa party earlier this year. Sherman has pleaded not guilty.
