WAVERLY — A 43-year-old Emporia man was injured Christmas eve in a winter-storm-related accident on I-35 south of the Coffey-Osage county line. The Kansas Highway Patrol said Clinton Rife was going south on I-35 when he lost control of his pickup and it rolled. Troopers said he was taken to Coffey County Hospital in Burlington.
