LINN VALLEY — A 22-year-old Riverton woman was injured when her car ran into the back of a semi-truck on the Miami-Linn county line early Wednesday morning. The Kansas Highway Patrol saids Brianna Thrasher was going south on U.S. 69 when she hit the truck parked on the side of the road. She was taken to Mercy Hospital in Fort Scott. The truck driver, William Charles Jameson, 60, Durango, Iowa, wasn’t injured.
