OTTAWA — Gerken Rent-All manager Sheldon Schultz said he’s tired of replacing windows at the business at 15th and Hickory. A window was shot out again this week at the business – the third. Slingshot-wielding vandals have repeatedly broken windows at Ottawa businesses along and near Main street for the last few months. The repeated attacks are inconvenient, require frequent filings with insurance companies and waste employees’ time by dealing with the broken windows, Schultz said. Ottawa police are asking for information about the shooters.
