GARNETT–Garnett Mayor Christian Maynard has been granted Diversion for a charge of Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol. Maynard was pulled over for speeding May 5. He must pay certain fines, stay away from alcohol and submit to random testing. If he successfully completes the program, the DUI charge will be dismissed.
