OTTAWA — Ottawa schools are gearing up to make changes that will help the district meet state testing standards. Superintendent Dean Katt said his team is making preparations and gathering information for the changes and is still working out plans for USD 290’s schools. The school district was placed on a state improvement list and officials have been meeting state education teams who have looked at Ottawa schools and offered suggestions.
