OLATHE — A 53-year-old Paola man was taken to Overland Park Regional Hospital as a result of a one-vehicle accident Sunday afternoon on I-35 just south of Old 56 in Olathe. The Kansas Highway Patrol said Rickie Beamgard was driving south on I-35 and he tried to change lanes. He lost control of his car which slid sideways into a snow bank and rolled three or four times, troopers said.
