OVERLAND PARK — An Ottawa woman injured in a one-vehicle accident on Eisenhower Road Thursday morning has been discharged from the hospital. 19-year-old Ashley L. McCrea had been taken to Overland Park Regional Medical Center. Officials there said she was treated and released. The Kansas Highway Patrol said a 1999 Montero sport utility driven by McCrea was northbound in the 1200 block of Eisenhower Road when her tires left the roadway and hit gravel. She then lost control, and her vehicle plunged into a creek bed and overturned.
