WELLSVILLE — The Franklin County Sheriff’s Department said the loss from a fire near Wellsville early Tuesday morning may top more than $20,000. The Wellsville and Lincoln-Ottawa-Harrison fire departments battled the early morning blaze near Texas and Riley roads. The house was owned by Michael Hicks, the sheriff’s department said.
