GARNETT — The man who helped Greensburg rebuild from the 2007 tornado as a green town will speak at the Garnett Area Chamber of Commerce banquet next week.
Daniel Wallach describes himself as a social entrepreneur who runs Greensburg GreenTown. He has received national honors for helping Greensburg to rebuild green. He is also writing a book called “Green Town USA.” The banquet is next Wednesday evening at the Garnett VFW post. Tickets are $16 and can be bought at the at the chamber office, Serendipity and State Farm Insurance, both on U.S. 59. The deadline to make reservations is Friday.
