OSAWATOMIE — The league champion Osawatomie High School Scholars Bowl team is preparing for next week’s regional competition in Girard. The team, who includes Riley McDougal, Sara Schwalm, Sara Hay, Brittany Heppler, Monica McDougal and Bailey Newton, won the Pioneer League title earlier this month. The top three teams of the 14 teams in the regional will advance to the state tournament.
