GARNETT — A third candidate has filed for the Garnett City Commission. Jan Fagg told the Anderson County Review that taxpayers ought to have more information about some of the purchases made by the city and the way money is spent. He saids he disagrees with city commissioners giving themselves a raise. He said he’ll do a better job of listening to citizens and would set up a city phone line to allow people to call up and voice their opinions. Fagg is a retired pipefitter and is a lifetime resident of Anderson County. Incumbent Greg Gwin and another challenger, Jeneace Brummel, have also filed.
