OSAWATOMIE — Three of four Osawatomie City Council races will be contested this spring. The deadline for filing was Tuesday. Troy Dalton and Lawrence Dickinson have filed for Precinct 1. John Farley and Jamie Wilson have filed for Precinct 2. Dwight Francis and Tamara Maichel have filed for Precinct 4. Incumbent Karen LaEuex is the only person who filed for Precinct 3. Paola City Council had two seats open this year. Pete Bell and Mark Minden have filed for Precinct 4. Gee Gee Wilhoite is the only person who filed for Precinct 2. Louisburg City Council also had two seats open this year. Only one person filed for each seat – Carolyn Karns for Precinct 1 and David Cannon for Precinct 2.
