WICHITA — During his testimony in Sedgwick County today, Scott Roeder said he shot abortion doctor George Tiller last May at Tiller’s church. Roeder’s lawyer asked Roeder, “Why did you kill him?” Roeder replied that he killed Tiller because the law had not stopped him from performing abortions. The lives of those children were in imminent danger and if someone did not stop Tiller, he was going to continue doing abortions and children were going to continue to die, Roeder said.
