PARSONS — Attorney General Steve Six said two men have been charged in connection with Wednesday’s methamphetamine lab bust in rural Neosho County. One of the men was shot by Kansas Bureau of Investigation agents. Six said the KBI was searching an area with a possible methamphetamine laboratory when they found two men. One of the person jumped in a vehicle and drove at the agents, who shot him, Six said. The other man escaped but was later arrested. Duane Eugene Lansdown and Justin Chad Seabolt were charged with several drug offenses. Lansdown was shot during the incident. They will make their first appearance in court next Thursday. The agents have been placed on administrative leave until the investigation, which is being done by the Parsons Police Department, is complete, Six said.
