TOPEKA–In case you’re wondering….the 2009 Kansas corn crop set a record. The Kansas Agriculture Statistics Office says corn production totaled almost 600,000,000 bushels, a 23% increase over 2008. The average yield per acre was also a record…155 bushels per acre.
