OTTAWA — Ottawa firefighters contained a small fire to a kitchen in the 800 block of South Cedar Street Saturday morning. Fire Chief Jeff Carner said the homeowner was doing maintenance work when an electrical problem resulted in a fire. Carner said the fire caused about $2,000 in damage.
