OTTAWA — A construction worker was overcome by carbon monoxide Monday while he was working in the 1300 block of South Oak Street in Ottawa. Ottawa fire chief Jeff Carner said the man was using a gasoline-powered chop saw in a confined space when he felt ill and called emergency crews. The man was taken to Ransom Memorial Hospital where he was treated and released.
