PAOLA — The Paola Police Department took part in a major, multi-county drug bust Monday. Kansas Attorney General Steven Six said 13 law enforcement agencies and the Kansas National Guard made a series of raids and arrests in relation to a eight-month regional investigation of methamphetamine manufacturing in southeast Kansas. Six said most of the raids occurred in Neosho, Allen and Bourbon counties but included Paola.
Eight people were arrested Monday but more arrests are expected.
