KANSAS CITY — A 54-year-old Rantoul man has pleaded guilty in federal court to producing child pornograpy. U.S. Attorney Lanny Welch said Ronald Schulz sent images of child pornography over the Internet to an undercover officer in Sacramento, Calif. After the officer traced the images to Schulz in Rantoul, agents of Immigrations and Customs Enforcement searched his home. Welch said the raids found thousands of images of child pornography, including photos of Schulz fondling a 2-month-old girl who was his relative. Sentencing is April 27. He could get 15 to 30 years in prison.
