WELLSVILLE — Wellsville and other county fire departments were called to fight a fire this morning at a dog kennel west of Wellsville. Animal control officers were called to the scene in the 4400 block of Vermont Road this afternoon. Initial reports indicated some dogs were still in the building when the fire occurred. Wellsville fire chief Robert Thomas said a few dogs were killed in the fire.
