OTTAWA — A proposed property tax abatement of nearly $1.9 million for the new Hasty Awards plant in Ottawa has been placed on next week’s city commission meeting agenda. During their meeting Monday, commissioners reviewed the public hearing last week concerning the abatement. The company built a new plant in the city’s industrial park last year. The plant employs 60 people.
