OTTAWA — A proposed truck and travel center cleared its final regulatory hurdle Wednesday night when the Ottawa Planning Commission approved a site plan for Love’s Travel Center at I-35 and U.S. 59. Assistant city planner Tom Yahl said Love’s plans to begin construction March 1. Plans call for a convenience store, fast-food restaurant and truck stop. Love’s is the first of two truck and travel centers planned for Ottawa.
