TOPEKA — Insurance commissioner Sandy Praeger has banned four out-of-state companies from selling health insurance in Kansas. She said the companies ignored state insurance regulations and used deceptive advertising. The companies are Real Benefits Association, Serve America Assurance, American Trade Association and Smart Data Solutions, she said. Several other states have issued warnings and fines against the companies, Praeger said.
