CLARKSVILLE, Md. — You think you’ve seen too much snow? You ain’t seen nothing. Ask former Anderson County residents, the Breland family of Maryland. Coni Breland told the Anderson County Review that she’s seen four snowstorms drop 60 inches of snow – that’s five feet of snow — on Maryland in two weeks. She said forecasters are predicting more snow. There has been so much snow that it’s ripping the gutters off their house, she said. Even her kids are so tired of snow, they don’t want to go sledding any more. The county has used up its snow budget and sales taxes have fallen as fast as the snow because no one can get out to shop, she said. Now, she says East Coast residents are now worried about flooding when all the snow melts.
