BALDWIN CITY — A recycling business in Ottawa will be helping Baldwin City residents recycle their garbage. Baldwin City recently signed a new contract with 12th and Haskell Recycling of Lawrence and East Wilson Recycling of Ottawa, which is the same company. Baldwin City Administrator Jeff Dingman says Ottawa Sanitation formerly provided a basic recycling service for the city but it was not the main focus of their business. The new system will have the same service while reducing the monthly cost for the recycling service by 30 percent.
