PLEASANTON — Five people were injured Friday afternoon when a SUV rolled over in Linn County. The Kansas Highway Patrol said James Stinnett, 27, Deerfield, Mo., was driving south on U.S, 69 at the K-152 north junction when the accident occurred. Troopers said Stinnett fell asleep and drove off the highway. He overcorrected and the vehicle rolled over several times. Stinnett and Carolyn Rasberry, 63, Hudson, Fla., were taken to St Lukes on the Plaza of Kansas City. Dalton Bittner, 11, Fort Scott; Jacob Stinnett, 5, Fort Scott; and Chloe Stinnett, 2, Fort Scott; were taken to Children’s Mercy Hospital in Kansas City. Troopers said none of them were wearing safety restraints.
