OTTAWA — Now that Franklin County Habitat for Humanity celebrated its latest project Wednesday night, Lisa Rivers says the group is now looking for some new families to provide housing for. Habitat plans to build a new house at a vacant site in northern Ottawa and will do modest repairs on a house in southern Ottawa beginning this summer, and Habitat is looking for two families, she said. There’s been strong interest among potential families but there is still time to apply, she said. To apply, call Habitat at 242-2600. Habitat for Humanity is an ecumenical ministry that helps family get decent housing at affordable prices.
