POMONA–He was down, but certainly not out. Rex Hancock is the husband of Pomona Mayor Joann Hancock. Many people had considered him shut out of the April General Election because of his few votes. However, after doing a canvass of the Primary, the Franklin County Clerk says Hancock received enough extra votes to put him on the general ballot. Walter William Cunningham was eliminated off the April ballot.
