OTTAWA — If you’ve got a giant pile of wood chips, you’ve got a giant pile of compost and well, it steams. When Ottawa firefighters were called to a report of smoke in the 2500 block of East Logan Monday, they found a steaming pile of wood chips doing what a pile of compost does naturally.
